Privacy Policy

Who we are

Kingha is a small, independently developed 2-player strategy game. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and what rights you have over it. We do not show ads, and we do not use any third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

What data we collect

If you play without creating an account ("device-only" mode): no data leaves your device. Your profile (display name, avatar, match history, in-game currency, and any friend names you enter) is stored only in your device's local storage. We never see it.

If you create an account, we collect and store:

• Your email address (used only for login/authentication).
• Your in-game profile: display name, avatar/cosmetic selections, match results (wins/losses), ranked rating, and in-game currency/progression balances.
• If you use a private-match password lobby, a temporary pairing record (not your password itself — only a one-way cryptographic hash of it) used solely to match you with the other player, and automatically deleted shortly after.

We do not collect: your real name (unless you choose to type it as your display name), location data, device identifiers for advertising, browsing history, or any data from other apps.

Why we collect it (legal basis)

Account data is processed under GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) — it's necessary to provide the service you signed up for (an account with cloud-saved progress and leaderboards). We do not process any data for marketing, profiling, or advertising purposes, so no consent-based legal basis is needed for those (we don't do them).

Who else sees your data

We use Supabase (supabase.com) as our backend hosting provider. Supabase stores your account and profile data on our behalf, acting as a data processor under GDPR Art. 28. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third party, including advertisers.

How long we keep it

Your account data is retained for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account (see below), your data is permanently deleted from our systems, typically within 30 days.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data (most of this you can already do yourself in Settings/Profile).
• Delete your account and all associated data at any time, either directly from the app's Settings screen or by emailing us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
• Export your data in a portable format, on request via the contact email below.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@kingha-game.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children's privacy

Kingha is a general-audience strategy game. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and the app contains no chat, no user-generated content beyond a self-chosen display name, and no advertising. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at the address above and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change accordingly. Material changes will also be noted in the in-app Legal screen.

Terms

Kingha is a free game provided as-is, without warranty. Please be respectful in any player-visible names (e.g. on leaderboards) — offensive names may be removed or reset.

This section will be updated once in-app purchases are introduced, to describe purchase terms, refund policy, and virtual-currency handling — it does not currently describe any real-money purchases because none exist yet.
